2016년 7월 15일부터 9월 25일까지 강원도 영월군 동강에서 개최되는 제15회 동강국제사진제에 작품을 응모해 주세요. 올해의 주제는 다음과 같습니다.

하늘을 날다

하늘을 나는 새가 되고 싶은꿈이 있습니다. 새의 눈으로 바라보는 세상이 이제 상상에서 일상으로 다가왔습니다. 드론을 이용하여 언제든지 하늘을 날 수 있게 된 카메라가 보여주는 세상의 경이롭고 아름다운 모습을 만나고 싶습니다.

드론(무인항공기)으로 촬영한 작품을 응모할 수 있습니다.

작가 혹은 단체 모두 지원할 수 있습니다. 개인은 특정시리즈나 전체작품 중 6점에서 10점의 작품을 제출해야 합니다. 올해의 작가 1명과 10명에서 20명 사이의 예술가가 선정될 예정입니다.

1. 일반

목적

동강국제사진제는 전세계작가들과 함께하는  축제입니다. 이번 동강국제사진제 공모의 목적은 작가를 지원하고 작품을 보여줄 무대를 제공하며 신진 및 기존작가의사진 및 영상작품을 전시하는 것입니다.

장소

선정된 작가의 작품은 동강국제사진제의 주요 전시공간, 스크린닝, 또는 야외공간에 전시됩니다.

날짜

2016년 동강국제사진제의 주요프로그램은 2016년 7월 15일부터 9월 25일까지 개최됩니다.

응모자격

2016년 동강국제사진제의 공모는 국내외의작가, 단체, 혹은기관 모두에게 열려있습니다.

제출마감

2016년 6월 19일 00시 00분까지 입니다.

응모비용은 없습니다.

작품 : jpeg 형식의 디지털이미지 6~10점. 각 1mb를 넘지않을 것.

이력서 : 1페이지 정도의 간략한biography와 작가소개서(pdf).

작품설명서 : 400자 이하의 짧은 작품설명

결과공지

2015년 6월 25일까지 이메일을 통해서 선정된작가에게 결과를 공지합니다.

홍보

선정된 작품은 동강사진전 웹사이트에 게재되고 인쇄 및 온라인 매체를 통해 진행되는 홍보캠페인에 포함됩니다. 작품은 동강국제사진제에서 제작되고, 작가와 협의하에 전시됩니다.

we invite you to submit your work to the 15th donggang international photo festival, to be held this year from 15th july to 25th september in donggang, yeonwol, korea.

flying in the sky 

i have always longed to be free as a bird flying in the sky. for a long time, images of the world seen from a bird’s-eye view have been regarded somewhat extraordinary. using today’s technology, however, such images are quite effortlessly obtainable. by virtue of the drones with cameras, aerial photos are readily accessible today. now i feel it is time to really meet the world i am living in — its beauty and its marvel in their entirety— with the aid of the cameras that can fly.

submissions must be shot using a quadcopter(drone)

individuals and collectives are welcome to apply individuals should and enter between six and ten photographs from a particular series or body of work.artist of the year (winner) andbetween 10 and 20 photographers / artists will benefit from:

- award, the winner

- the winner(s) will be eligible for travel and accommodation

- production (printing, framing or related presentation material)

- exhibition exposure at the festival’s main exhibition space/outdoor

- inclusion in art magazine and any related press

- long term festival representation and promotion on official website

- publications/ catalog

- having their work viewed by an international panel of influential experts in the field of photography

objectives

donggang international photo festival aims to feature a quality ion of photography projects from around the world. festival’s open call is devoted to offering a platform and supporting photography, showcasing photography and related media from emerging and established artists.

venue

the ed projects will be presented to donggang international photo festival in donggang in main exhibition space, screening or outdoor space.

dates

the main program of donggang international photo festival 2015 will be held from july 15 to sep25, 2016.

eligibility

submission to donggang international photo festival 2015 is open to artists, collectives, galleries and organizations from around the world.

entry deadline

Submissions must be made before 19th June 2016, 00.00 hrs.
There is no entry fee for submissions

2.how to submit

submissions

must include –

a concise one-page cv and a short biography (pdf)

a short write up about the body of work, no more than 400 words.

3. ed projects

ion

all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the curatorial team of the festival.

status notification

all ed artists will be notified by email of their submission status by 25, june 2016 at the latest.

exhibition

donggang international photo festival will collect the digital files from ed artists and all production will be provided for the exhibitions.

publicity

the ed projects will be presented on the festival’s website and be part of the festival’s promotional campaign in print and online media, increase awareness of the ed works in the photography community.
